Learn about the pyramid temples, buildings, and sacred grounds, used by various pre-Columbian cultures, and by the Incas. The temple of Pachacamac was the place of worship for the sun gods, and the palace of the chosen females, the Virgins of the Sun. This entire location is considered sacred, and part of the mystical axis of the world.

Buffet-style lunch.

With a dazzling collection of golden stones from diverse pre-Columbian cultures, some more than 3,000 years old, this museum exhibits objects and jewelry of incalculable value: works in gold, silver, and precious stones, which highlight the ornaments and objects, that, in their time, were used by the Incas, gods of the Sun Gods, and monarchs of the vast Incan Empire. The Peruvian Museum of Gold exhibits a valuable collection of antique and modern weapons, considered some of the best generated at their level, at the time, in the world.  In other showrooms, you’ll be shown armor, uniforms, and diverse objects of the times and places, including some objects dating back to 1300BC. These marvelous exhibits are why this museum is also known as the World’s Weapons Museum (Museo Armas del Mundo).
